Jesus is Magic, and so is Google.

I admire people that are good at math. They have the ability to figure out if 2d6+7 with a +11 to hit is better than 1d8+5 with a +13 to hit.

I can't. I roll dice, add it up, and see what happens, and then make a guess.

I'm also addicted to xkcd. I follow other webcomics, but this is the only one that makes me laugh often, and learn something I didn't know more often.

So, in the this xkcd blog article, he steps us through the math to figure out how fast something has to go up to create an endless sunset. He uses google to do the math.

Now, I've known for a long time that you can use google to do measurement conversions, currency, and basic math, but his string is way beyond anything I would have thought to do.

2*pi*6 meters/(day*arcsec(6 meters/(radius of earth)+1))

...and this is when I thought that Google and Jesus are both magic. But Google is clearly better at math.
